Audiobooks for our Seasons of Grief
Unless it comes suddenly as a shock, which is its own unique trauma, you see it unfolding with its horrible, horrible, inevitability. As it progresses, as each hope is stripped away, you discover that it's been sheer terror all along, cleverly disguised as hope.
And then it happens, and your oh so very loved one is gone.
It's shattering. Until you begin picking up the pieces, getting along, trying to remember that you're still surrounded by much love here on earth. Just not that very special love which will be gone until you see them again.
You're not alone; though Grief has its own unique flavor for everyone--none of us is getting through this life without losing so very much love.
And that's the hugest gift in the world. We have loved.
Now is the time to turn towards healing, days of loss and remembrance. Time to embrace the love that still surrounds you as you limp along.
May you find words of wisdom in some of these audiobooks (And may you avoid some like the plague!). Let us be here for you with what we have to offer. Trust me when I say that we'll be adding to our audiobooks on grief and healing as time goes by cuz we absolutely refuse to stop loving... and that shall indeed mean more pain somewhere down the road. And that's a blessing!
Remember that we have Friend Accomplice and Animal Accomplice pages should you wish to leave a pic or two or three of the love you'd like to honor--It's such a help in healing!
And if you've found an audiobook to be particularly helpful, by all means shoot me a line at Gillian@AudiobookAccomplice.com, and I'll give it a listen and add a review and a listing here. It takes all of us to pull through this life and to live and receive love each and every day, to eventually let go, to learn to lean on strength offered. Of course, if you want to take some time to huddle in a closet and sob like there's no tomorrow, that's perfectly okay too!
Love, life, peace to all!
