Why single out one hurricane from hurricane season? Because Hurricane Katrina scarred my soul, Hurricane Katrina saved my heart. Louisiana and Mississippi and their devastation stirred some of my darkest thoughts but received some of my best efforts also.

Here’s to what happened. The good, the bad, the oh so ugly. But also to the rescuers on the front lines, or behind the scenes!
