Hello fellow Accomplice!

Missy a.k.a The Miss lost her struggle with lymphoma, and she died peacefully with everyone she loved, everything she loved, surrounding her. Uhm, RoRo even tried getting her to play.

We’re devastated, we’re lonely. But mostly we’re just so danged glad she was in our lives.

Thanksgiving is a fantastic time to remember those we hold dear; a time to grieve with love those we’ve lost; and mostly a time to feel real gratitude for every single magnificent thing that life and death bring us. Hold the good tight, and bring the painful to your heart, smother it with all the stars in the sky.

It’s been a couple of years of losses for my family and for my husband and me. RoRo is confused and despondent at times.

Yes, but!! At times, too, especially on days like Thanksgiving, the losses are piddly stuff compared to all the memories left behind and the appreciation of the love still surrounding us. Maybe even to the hope of love yet to come?
