Hello fellow Accomplice!

And happy Mother’s Day!

Once upon a time, there lived a great mom named Blanche who lovingly watched over her daughter, David. Though the two were homeless, they did their best and were much loved. All they needed was a global pandemic to shut their stomping grounds down and spur the woman who adored them to trap them and welcome them to a Forever Home!

We have an audiobook that celebrates the flawed parent in all of us, the parent who sometimes has to just watch in sheer exhaustion as the kids play with toy mice, to go with the week’s Listening.

May you find something to your liking!

As always, feel free to share your favorites with me!

Or share your audiobook accomplice stories and photos! Are you still Sheltering in Place?

Huzzah! We’re celebrating the continuation of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month with a slew of audiobooks written by Asian American authors and authors from various homelands.

I’m quite excited, and I’m suuuuure ya wanna join me for this week, no?

How can you resist?!

Details for the audiobooks are on the Listening to Now page.

Are we stiiiiiill climbing up this Mountain?!

Yessssss we are, so let’s just enjoy our journey with a trip up some of these “Mountain” themed audiobooks. Choose one, choose many, and vote as often as you like for my Next Listen! Each of them looks awesome, so I certainly can’t choose by m’self.

Details for the audiobooks are at Tell Me What’s Next. Feel free to also suggest another audiobook for review.

And David is BUSTED after attacking her new Dad’s sneakers in her Forever Home! All Blanche can do is sigh, shake her head, and use her new parenting skills (Cuz, see, she listened to the parenting audiobook!).

Welllll, she used those skills after she kinda sorta cuffed her little git of a daughter.

I know it’s not safe to hug a mom yet, but I do hope y’all are able to send wonderful and loving vibes to moms the world over!

Have a great day, an awesome week, and see you next Sunday!

Your Accomplice, Gillian
