Dearest fellow Accomplice!

Oh how blessed we have been!!!

Here I sit, blessed beyond measure, by the side of our much-loved Rodie RoRo as he begins his journey to Elsewhere, soon to inhabit not a spot on the bed but one within my heart Forevermore.

We’re not entirely sure when exactly he’ll be leaving, and we’ve spent the past day(s) just trying to make peace with how fragile, how immense, he was, is, will be, world without end. This, well, it’s a Dance my husband and I, my Big Sis and her family, Maman and her own Crew, have danced many times before. Each time? The steps are different, and our rhythm is off, but: We dance, don’t we? We’re making the valiant effort to make the time left to us be as peaceful, as packed with a quiet adoration, as grateful for Every. Single. Moment we’ve had! as we can…

He’s been a good and faithful companion for 16-years, and gosh has he taken one for the team as many a Special Occasions Intro Pic Feature (But really, Rodie: That Halloween Octopus was a hooooot!!!), or what?

We’ll be back soon with our Regularly Scheduled Lives and Newsletters but for now, we’ve been given an Opportunity to Love with Wild Abandon all who’ve graced our lives.
